Rain and lake conditions

Sitting here watching it pour down rain. And its just washing mud in everywhere.

Question what's that going to do to the fishing. Any ideas on what I should try, maybe tomorrow if the rain at least slows down.

Chickamauga Water Level is going to go up, a LOT! And flows will be high!

Could inspire some bass to pull up shallow?

I'm interested as well. Not a very cold rain so shouldn't drop water temps much. I'm thinking big spinnerbait or squarebills/traps with some color?

Bass will be on the banks .,water tens yesterday were 56-58 depending on where you went . I'd imagine water temps maybe pushing 60 by this weekend .

I think the fish would bite , but there will be a lot of garbage in the water that will make it dangerous .

I am here from ohio so if the rain slows down I will be out. Don't know too much about the lake. Probably start shallow with a lipless crankbait and go from there.

Shallow! I tore them up today. Best day I have had numbers wise in a long time but not much size. They were hitting cranks that ran 1-3 ft and wake baits.

You may be on the Swingset pattern in a day or 2.....we`ve over 4.5 inches since the rain started on Wed here in the Tellico Lake drainage. They were running 5 gates Thursday at Loudon. We got 3.25 pretty much yesterday.!

I am going to wait till Monday, maybe there will be less garbage in the water.

Tough day for us. Not knowing the lake doesn't help either. Fished shallow and deep couldn't find any clean water any where that I fished. Not surprised though lake has gone up 4+ ft since we arrived. Going to move north tomorrow and try to find cleaner water and maybe some fish too.

The bass will be right up on the banks in coves and pockets . Red , or chartreuse rattle baits will work . There probably won't be any cleaner water for a couple days . With heavy rain coming again Monday it may take even longer .

My buddy went today and put in at wolf teaver. Said he had more action today than he has in a long time. So I'm gonna go tomorrow and try the new duckett rod and reel and lews set and see how they do.

I am duck hunting this am - noticed a lot of fish in shallow - might go get rods

Bite was extremely slow today. Only caught 4 total. Nothing to write home about.
