My son and I were talking about buying some rain gear for fishing. He said that if he is gonna spend 4-5 hundred on a rain suit he wants it to fit. So my question is, is there some place that you can buy custom size bibs and jackets? We are both kinda short and fat. We would both need an xl but with an xl the legs and sleeves would be for someone 7" tall. So does someone sell them for short fat boys! (He calls it short and stocky) Thanks, Bobby

oh yeah 7' tall lol..... if you find them call me I'm 7' tall too!

The frog togg's gavin won at the battle of the chick have done very well. I think its all about the gortex.....?

I have been very pleased with my H2O express bibs... the new ones... very comfortable and I have not got wet yet in them... spend hours in the rain in my Kayak and bass boat. I have a BPS goretex lite rain jacket. it has been more than warm enough for me when layered with fleece underneath. I fished in 20 degree weather several time last winter. I also saved a ton of money over the more popular name brands.

I noticed sportsman warehouse had some of the new HUK rain gear. it looks super cool... don't know how well it works but if looks wins any points it might be ahead of the rest.

If you can wait until "Black Friday" Cabelas and BPS usually run a really good sale on Guidewear and 100 mph rain suits.

For a lighter Gor Tex suit, the BPS Pro Qualifier is pretty nice. Had mine for two years now and haven't gotten wet yet.

I have the cabelas guide ware and I'm
Pretty round too. Not to short.. I originally ordered the xl gear and it was too short I had to get Xlt.. Xl should work for you both

I got a pair of cabelas guidewear rain jacket and bibs last year and i am pleased with them! I will say if you are going to invest in a pair don't go cheap route trying to save a few dollars here and there you gt what you pay for. Cabelas has a few rain suits in stock at their Fort O store if you want to go by and try some on before you spend the money on it

Keep in mind that Cabela's does not have any retail stores in TN. So if you live in TN and order online, you do not have to pay sales tax.

i have the bass pro pro qulifier bibs and jacket and i am pleased with it not sure the differnce in it vs the 100mph other than it was a little less expensive

I have the gander mtn suit and absolutley love it works prefect no problems with it and bibs and jacket was right at 200 and im short and fat as well so i know the struggle lol

Be alot of em put to the test tomorrow,,,know the CATCH has their classic tomorrow
