i have to replace the bunks on my trailer and i was wondering if there a ramp anywhere that theres not alot of traffic b/c i would have to put it in the water and i didn't want to be in the way

I'll bet there are a BUNCH of bank fishing folks on here that would be willing to give their time to help you out by taking your boat fishing while you work on the trailer!!!! emoBigsmile

The ramp at Chickamauga Dam (above the dam) is extremely wide. It will accommodate at least three vehicles launching at once.

If you were there during the week when there's not a lot of traffic.... and backed in way over on one side, I suspect you could get away with staying in the water a while and still leave room for other folks who might come and go.

But it could be a problem on the weekend?

I would be willing to stand there with a rope while you park and fix the bukers and hold your boat in place until finished, you could keep the keys.

The ramp across the river from the Riverpark is mostly unused during the week. It is two lanes wide and there is a nice dock to tie up to. This ramp not good when the water is low, but that has not been a problem most of this year. The ramp is located off Hixson Pike and Lupton Drive in Rivermont. It is also well lit in case your project takes longer than expected. Hope that gives you another option.

Go put in at the ramp on tyner lane off hwy 58. It has very little boat traffic in the morning, and you can pull your boat up on the bank. Take a left right across brown middle school.
