Hey guys, I am having a problem with my bow-starboard side rod locker taking on water, to the point the carpet has came up in it. We took it to fish n fun for maintenance, and for some reason we have had this problem ever since. Has anyone had this problem before? Could anyone lead me in the right direction. The model of the boat is a 2000 522dvx. All the other compartments stay fairly dry. Also, the boat is kept outside but it is covered.

Rubber seals may be separating as are 2 pieces ( I believe), may have to replace or use contact glue if is the case. Also, the lock control is adjustable to make lock tighter...adjustment underneath lid (bottom side of latch .....look around inside lid , see if there is a seal mark on under side. Can also put some lubricate (light grease) on seal, close & latch lid, reopen, look under lid, see if there is a grease streak completely around the lid. Last & not least, make sure nothing in lid area causing not to properly close............ emoGeezer emoUSA
