Bought a new 06 Ranger 519vx and have so many little things go wrong.
After dealing with some miner problems that occurred over the last year and half now I got a real problem. I No what it is but can't get the Ranger dealers or the Ranger folks in Arkansaw to understand my problem. I have a leak in the piping to the livewell The housing (PVC) contraption not the actual pump that is leaking. I call the ranger people in Arkansaw and talk to somebody who assured me that he understood me and put it in the mail. Well guess what two pumps arrive today. Does anybody know where I can get my hands on a diagram of the plumping to a 2006 Ranger.... looked at my buddies boat yesterday and his is totally different.

I hate to be negative but my 06 z-20 had lots of little problems like that. Lids that wouldn't open and close properly, storage compartment lids falling off the hinges, and the livewells never filled up more than 1/3 of the way. Worst riding and performing 20ft boat I have ever had. People think heavy weight makes a boat ride good but what it does is makes you slam or spear lots of waves. My stratos was a better boat and my Allison is the smoothest boat I have ever been in.

you wouldn't believe the shoddy work that was on my boat. Got so mad at the people at music city marine I don't even deal with them. I'm going to try and rig something up so I can fish the tx next week. Have to say that the people in arkansaw have been good but hard to talk to anybody who actually does the work on them

I thought about that, called them they said they would have to contact Ranger but never got back with me. Thats when I called Ranger myself. I can fix the problem just need the right parts. It's the pvc housing that the pumps set in and has the in-line recirc and man. valve. I'm sure I left some water in there and froze and the plastic housing busted.

Everyone likes different things but Ranger, in my opinion, is a great boat. I have never had any problems with Ranger boats in Arkansas or local dealers. Fish and Fun is a great dealership. Give them a call. They will help you out.

tom at fish-n-fun will hook you up,have talked to ranger direct many times over the past 25 yrs of owning a ranger and they always are top notch, just got some new lid straps in and they were here 3days after ordering them ,they will talk you through just about anything that you can come up with just have to tell them who ya need to talk to and not a front office person.

I was gonna say "just pull the plug" but it sounds like all you would have to do is put it in the water! emoBigsmile I have no idea on the problem, but good luck with it.

Didn't say I didn't like my boat... love the way it fishes and rides just had some little things go wrong. The livewell problems were my fault. The people at fish and fun were top notch. Tom went out of his way to take care of me. Thanks Tom!
