i am thinking about buying a 98 ranger 518,the boat was kept on the water and has a white looking film on the sides.does anyone know if this can be removed off the boat without having to have it buffed,and also could there be any negetive effects to the boat since it was kept on the water rather than the trailor.the boat must not have been on the trailor much since the trailor looks brand new.

<font size="2"> I would have the engine checked out real good. Make sure there is no damage from electrolosis (?). The film can be removed with a little elbow work and buffing it out.</font>
