I plan on taking my daughter tomorrow to try a little crappie action. What would be the best ramp on the lower end of the lake to put in at? I will basically be loading/unloading by myself as she is only 7.
Thanks

Not sure if you consider Wolftever mid or lower lake but the ramp remains solid. Biggest issue is traffic but I suspect that's not unique to Wolftever. A cleat being available to tie off to while you park is like boardwalk real estate in monopoly if you are alone. emoSmile

LOL about the Monopoly game and you're right, I personally don't like to beach my boat and a cleat or pole or anything to tie to is "gold". I would say Harrison Bay has a lot more dock space but can anyone provide input about how the ramp is with the water this low, specifically I usually try to put in when the water is down on the right side of the ramp at HBSP when you are facing the water but I think I may have read something about a rock pile other hazard on the right side. Also the water is really low so is dropping your trailer off the end of the ramp anything to worry about at the State Park?

Harrison Bay is fine. Just stay in the middle. The area between the small dock and the ramp is shallow so just swing a little wide.

Well....we didn't make it last weekend as my wife, both daughters and myself came down with a stomach virus or something. Needless to say a very rough weekend. We may try this weekend but i'm sure the water conditions will be pretty nasty after all this rain.
