I tried this new lure trout fishing last fall. The lip came off after about a dozen casts!!! I did not hit any obsticles with the lures. I had bought 6 in different colors and all 6 of them came apart. I will not buy any more of them. This is the only product that Rapala has made that I would not recommend. They need to redesign the attachment of the lip to the lure body.

Yep. Ive had the lips of several DT series baits come off. Thats what happens when they use cheap asian labor....

I liked the action that they have . I haven't broken mine yet and I use the shallow runner. My one complaint was that it was not heavy enough and hard to throw into the wind. Hate to hear about the weak lip reviews

Anything in the shad rap family is going to be a pain to throw into the wind. I bought a couple of them. I hope it's true they fixed the problem. If not, I'm not afraid to call them and speak my peace

i dont do rapala crankbaits for that reason... ive wasted a couple hundred dollars on dt6-10's slapping grass off on gville.. you think id learn but i dont..

i broke off a pig on saturday that cost me enough money to replace all them others i broke.. well i didnt break off... i did get the lip back

i cant make myself throw them anymore..
