up to Five places.

what update did you make? looks the same to me. Glad you got the scales in! I see this Tx doing well in weeks to come

The original poster did not spell out the placing the way Ratman understood it was to be. He also wanted to make sure it was clear it was $5.00 per angler for big fish instead of per boat.

also the original flyer said that payout would go to 1st and 2nd for more than 5 but less than ten boats.

With all the posts and flack about late summer tournaments and bass mortality rates I want to make sure we do everything we can to insure healthy release.

A few pointers for keeping your live well fish healthy for weigh-ins.

1. Fill your live well from open lake areas with good water quality.

2.Turn on the recirculating aerator immediately. Set your aerator switch to manual (continuous operation). Run the aerator all day. If your pump only runs on a timer, run it as frequently as possible.

3.Land fish quickly and handle them as little as possible. Grasp fish by the lower jaw and hold them vertically. Bend the jaw as little as possible. Wet your hands before touching fish. Support large fish with a wet hand under the belly.

4.Care for fish while in live wells. Fish in forward live wells are more likely to be injured from bouncing while traveling in rough water.

5.Use ice to cool water and slow your fish's metabolism. One eight pound block of ice (one gallon plastic jug) cools water in a 30-gallon live well about 10 degrees for three hours. Block ice melts more slowly. ( I have been freezing water in 1/2 gallon milk jugs and placing them in the live well.)

6.Add "Rejuvunate", "Live N Well" or "Catch and Release" to the water. It helps maintain electrolyte balance and reduces the effects of stress.

7.Release your fish in the deepest water near the ramp which is probably out at the end of the dock area.

HOOOray HOOray ---------- NO DEAD FISH WEIGHED----------------Here's someone who really cares about getting folks to care for their fish!!!!!! No whimpy 2oz. penelty here!!!!!!!

I would venture to say if rigamortous ( sp?) has set in, the fish not breathing would be a couple of examples of a dead fish.

My definition of a dead fish is it doesn't move or react to being handled. No movement of gills, tails, mouths etc. If it looks dead you have to prove it is alive before you can weigh it.

We blast off on the Harrison Bay side of Wolftever bridge at exactly 6:45 PM. Late arrivals held us up last week, so if you want to fish get there early enough to sign up, pay and get to the other side of the bridge by 6:45PM for blast off.

With this just being a 3 hr evening tourney, dead fish shouldn't be a problem unless they're gut hooked.
