I do not trust the local weather forecasts tonight. I was watching the news and looking at weather.com radar and it was not showing any activity. I heard thunder and looked outside and we are having a strong storm right now where I live. High winds, thunder, lightening and heavy rain. It just boiled up and hit with out showing upon the dopplers.



RABTS QUALIFIERS:

ANYONE THAT HAS FISHED 1 RABTS TX THIS YEAR IS QUALIFIED TO WIN the $500 Guarantee First Place Next week. (Due to two TX being cancelled due to weather)</font>

Better safe than sorry. I wouldn't want anybody out there fishing in what we had last Friday...

That is exactly why I am canceling it. It was not safe last week and I will not ever fish in conditions like that again.

Agreed. My boat was back on the trailer shortly after 8 o'clock. Just not worth it for a small pot tourney. Safety comes 1st

thats funny............. my mom lives up that way and said it was a nice evening........

What sucks is that at 4:00 it was posted that the tournament was on and you would make the decision at the boat ramp...

i waited untill 6:30 and finnaly went fishing.... i waisted alot of time i could have been fishing because it was posted that the TX was good to go.....

There was a 10 percent chance of rain untill 10 pm

I JUST GOT BACK AND ITS 11:45 pm and we never hardly saw the FIRST CLOUD

I do know there were ALOT of upset people at the boat ramp today for the simple fact they waited till the 4:00 announcement that said good to go and then no one showed

I understand the concern for bad weather but you might as well cancell every TX from now on out because a chance of thuderstorms are EVERY day during the summer

Sorry i just needed to vent this got me and a few others pretty hot considering we filled up with gas in truck and boat drove ALL the way from Fort O ..... It would have been fine if we didnt read the post saying it was on and waited around for 1.5 hrs on nothing....

Either way it was a very nice sunny evening on the chick...

I guess thats why it should have been a game time decision like was originally posted

you guys could have at least showed up and let everyone know it was canceled since at 4 you posted it was on instead of having everyone wait around forever wondering

i love to fish this dogfight.... its just today was alittle frustrating..... sorry for the venting dont mean to sound like a prick
