We need to change the tournament name to Rainman's $500 TX. It rains every dadblasted Friday we have one. If we cancel it doesn't rain. If we have it, it rains the entire tournament. We had a very impressive 44 boat turn out and paid five places. We weighed in 19 bags of fish.

I will get the points updated and posted on the website in the next few days. I have a very busy weekend ahead so it may Tuesday.

Thanks for putting it on! emoThumbsup Me and Jason had a great time and enjoyed fellowshipping with you guys at the weigh in. We had our three but not that big. Our little limit of 6.61 was a little short of a check but we still had fun. emoToast Not much to report, caught two on a t-rig and one on a spook. Had several others all short, all came around 10 feet except the spook which came from around 5 feet. Tough night for us. Congrats to the winners on a wet one. emoApplause

44 boats in that weather! That's impressive.

As for the catfish being in your "Trash Fish" Category... I'll try not to take it personally. emoBigsmile

That's not a catfish........er ...it's a shark. emoSorry

Oh and after counting and adding up we had 42 boats, not 44 boats. Our sign-up sheets got wet so we had to improvise and try to keep things dry
enough to write on. We had people signed up on three different sheets and two were duplicates.

had a good time even though we got wet..... we seemed to follow the rain most of the evening.

we didnt quite get our 3 limit just couldnt get the third one in the boat. it probably wouldnt have mattered unless it was a good 6 lber

I had a good time guys. We got big fish right off the bat and pulled in 3 more slicks all night. Glad we decided to weigh her in anyway. She spit up a huge bream in the livewell when we got back to the ramp. I just knew that would be the kicker and we would lose. Looking forward to doing it again. Maybe Rudy will remember to put his drain plug in next time.

my nite started out bad and got worse as the nite went on put drain plug in wrong hole not paying attention b0 hollered at me while while i was helping with sign in and told me my boat was sinking had to get in water and change plug then it started raining moving around broke trolling motor bracket emoBang caught a few fish all short about 10 min from end of tx put my 1 fish in the well thank goodness its over got up sat morning looked out at my boat and noticed my kill switch was not there emoBang got in my truck went on hunt found life jacket with kill switched still attached emoApplause well something went right getting boat ready for grants tx in the morning can't find rain jacket so someone has a good rain jacket now but i still han good time with eric and hope we get to do it again with my luck last nite i can't believe we were out in all that lightning

I was busy signing up boats and wasn't paying any attention to the dock area. Ratman said "Did Rudy fall in the water or did he just jump in?" I looked up and Rudy was in water up to his waist reaching under his boat. It was sort of unusual to see that. emoPoke

Thanks for having the tournament Ratman and staff. I'm looking forward to doing it again Friday.
Thanks for the rod. That's a nice cat in the trash fish picture. What was the weight?
