I received a PM last night that asked about the "No Pro's allowed" rule. I am glad this question was asked because it gave the opportunity to think about it and define the rule.

We (Ratman and Myself) consider a Professional Angler to be a full time touring pro that travels the country on the FLW, BassMasters or Similar Professional Fishing Circuit. These Touring Pro's derive 100% of their income from Sponsorships, Endorsements, Advertisement or Tournament winnings. These Professional Anglers have a competitive advantage, specialized equipment and access to information not available to Amateur Anglers.

CBA members and other local Bass club members are more than welcome to fish our tournaments. The 3 fish limit and the "No Pro's" rule is an attempt to keep the competition as level as possible. It is our goal to hold a fair and competitive tournament series that promotes a strong sense of brotherhood amongst the participants. We want our anglers to look forward to this event on a weekly basis and not avoid it due to the competition level.
