Does anyone know when Ratman is going to start his tournaments and where, I have heard they are going to be at B&B Marina this year is this true! Thanks !

duck1 that is true there are no ratman tx this year because I got a job working out of town now.But popeyedpete that co ran the ratman or might we say ran the ratman for us is putting one on at B&B this year you can bet it will be just as good or better because it's alot closer for him and he likes that side of the river a little better I THINK!! check with him or fishingben for the details. Thanks Ratman

The Ratman Tournaments had a very successful two year run and ended the last of August this past year. Like Ratman stated above he is working out of town and Wolftever was a long way from where I live. I was having to take an hour of vacation on Friday afternoons to get there on time.

The Monday afternoon B&B Tournament is held 3 miles from my house. I have helped fishingben run the B&B TX for the past two years and really enjoy the slower pace and skinny water up on the Hiwassee.

B&B Marina is located in Charleston TN off of lower river road. You can visit their website for directions.

The tournaments will start on May 3rd and Run through August.

I have said it before but I will say it again...YOU guys did a great job running that Ratman tournament.... emoWorthy Thanks for the two years you did it. I would strongly recommend anyone that can get down to B&B to fish this one they are doing this year to do so. It is well managed, well run, not too high, good fellowship, nice people and several of them have sponcers so the money on some of them are pretty good. I may try to get down there on a couple but I have never fished that area at all. emoRolleyes Jmax

A fast boat can leave B&B and be in the Tennessee River in 10-12 minutes. Then your just a hop skip and a jump from the Big island, Sale Creek, Grasshopper and Moon Slough.

I agree with Jmax. The Ratmans was a great one to fish. Last year was my first time really fishing seriously mainly because I've never had a boat. I don't know how many I fished but it was nearly every week I was available. Everyone who organized and ran that tx deserves a big emoThanks. I however live WAY too far to drive up there and fish water that is unfamiliar and don't have a fast boat so I'll look for a weekly tx near the lower end. Wolftever is only about 45 mins from work and pretty convenient. Best of luck to all of you going to fish the B-B tx!

I understand completely. I was facing the same situation last year driving all the way down to Wolftever when I had
a lake 3 miles from the house.

The B&B tourmament is comprised of mostly locals that live with in a 5 mile radius of the ramp. We have a few that drive in a few miles to fish it. I would be willing to bet that over half live closer than I do.

I don't know who lives closer between you and me. I do have to turn at the top of Lower River and you have a straight shot so there is that advantage you've got on the trip. LOL We do welcome all to fish whether you're near or far.
