My recirculator makes an awful sound. Do they have bearings that can lock or is it just stopped up (or something else)? No way to be quiet and run it. I do have a bubbler that I run also.

sometimes they will get dirt or a small rock in them . This will eventually break the blades or seize the pump up and burn it up if you can get to it take it off and see if anything is in there .
