List of teams with a legitimate shot at finishing #1 in rectuiting.
Texas: The state of Texas is loaded with talent every year and UT is the king of that state, UT wins, and Mac Brown has a reputation as a honest coach. That is why UT is a threat every year.
USC: Pete Carroll is a celebrity and USC wins.
Florida: Urban Meyer is a winner, Florida signed a very small class last year, and Florida has the largest discrepancy of any BCS school when it comes to SAT scores betwen average students and football players.Oh yea did I say Meyer is a winner.
Tennessee: The vols can offer early playing time, They have done well in the JUCO ranks where there's not as much competition in recruiting and Kiffin has done a good job of hiring coaches that are very good at the art of spin.
The recruits to watch for are Chris Dunkley,Ahmad Dixon,Jeff Luc,James Stone, Ari Kouandjio, and Damien Robison.
LSU:? LSU has recruited well going all the way back to the Saban days. But I don't see how.
Bama: Saban is a recruiter who coaches in his spare time. The thing that may keep Bama from the top spot is they have commitments from two 2* kickers in this class. But with Saban all things are possible when it comes to recruiting.
From this list Bama will sign six.
Shon Coleman AU soft verbal
James Stone also considering the Vols
Arie Kouandjio also considering the Vols ( This kid has a little brother that weighs 325 lb. and will be in the
the class of 2011.)
Jeff Luc also considering the Gators and Vols ( I think he is Vols to lose )
Jordan Hicks also considering the Gators and UT ( I think the Long Horns lead for his services)
Ahmad Dixon also considering the Vols This is a kid that has trouble making up his mind, first he commits to
UT and now he is commited to Baylor I think? But I think he is the Vols to lose?
Johnavon Fulton also considering SC ( I think he is Bama's to lose)
Adrian Hubbard also considering GA. ( this was the sleeper recruit, but not anymore)
C.J. Mosley also considering AU
From this list I think Bama's top two are Shon Coleman ( he is the best O- lineman in th south) and C.J. Mosley.
My prediction is the Gators finish with the #1 class.
