reel colors

how many of you like the bright colors that are being used on some of the new reels? would you prefer a more subdued reel color pattern?

im not into the bright colors.. I prefer a black or silver

Same for me. I just don’t have an eye for the bright greens and other colors on them.

Black, The one thing I always hated about shimano was that green color.

I would use black, pink, green, purple, or whatever color if it helped me catch fish.

Does not matter to me, but I do really like the matte black finish on the higher end Daiwa, etc.

Doesn't matter to me,I have found a few good deals on the brighter ones because a lot of folks don't like the colors.

Is it smooth? Cast well? Good drag? Easy adjustment? Fit my hand well? If yes to all, I don't care if its pink with purple polka dots.

I have always known I was different. Guess this is just one more example. They cant make a reel too bright for me. I just bought a bright orange Lew's reel and had Joe Burns build me a orange and white rod to match it. But then again I drive a bright red truck with gold flames and Bullet to match. lol Like I said I am a little different.

I have a dayglo orange ultralite rod that lights up at night with my red headlamp shining on it. Pretty neat.
