reel maintence

Yall know of anybody in Cleveland/Chattanooga area that services reels? Just looking for someone to do some general maintenance and cleaning.

And you can pick it up at the store to save shipping cost.

If you are interested there's everything you ever wanted to know about reel maintenance in there ,,
its geared for salt water but most all of it carries over to all reels , I like doing mine when im not on the water,,

He uses the hot sauce oil and Shimano grease and says ardent isn't as good. I used ardent b/c it's what I had and it worked great. I can't imagine it being much better I also changed out the pawls.

Nice to know a person can save on shipping to Metro Rod And Reel, at BPS Springfield.

If you do use BPS don't make the same mistake as I did by mailing the reel yourself. Take it to the closest BPS and let them send it in for you, that way they have a ticket to track it with when it comes back.

BP in East Ridge will not clean reels

The BPS in E Ridge is where I picked up my repaired reel. I sent to Springfield myself and had it shipped to E R for me to pick up. They told Me if I had brought it to them that they do not have a repairman but would send it to Springfield for repair and I could pick it up there when it was repaired and sent to them. This way there would be no shipping charges.
