i have fished the reel mens tx two years straight and had fylers that were sent through the mail.tx rules,meeting the night before and all that good stuff. this year it seems like its being kept secret. are they going to be a meeting the night before at the dayton family church?is their going to be a dinner?what is the entry fee? how long is this tx going to last?last year it was safe light untill 1 pm but they said this year it would last untill 3 pm.doe anyone have anymore info other than it starts at 6 am on the 13th from dayton boat dock?

The Dayton boat dock has a TN BASS Federation tournament that is Friday and Saturday. They say around 60 boats. We met tonight (Tuesday) to work out the kinks. Read below.

REEL Men will have the dinner from 6pm until around 8pm on Friday night at the Family Church in Dayton. You need to be at this meeting for your own good. You can register Saturday morning, but that will be a nightmare and registration will end at 6am Saturday morning.

The TBF guys are going to launch from Bluewater Boat Dock at 6:50 or so and weigh-in at 3pm at the main parking lot.

REEL Men will start checking live wells at 5am. Once you have been checked and your boat marked, you are free to launch and proceed to your fishing hole. This is being done on the honor system. You can sit on your hole until 7am and then begin fishing. We will not draw and blast off by numbers as in the past.

REEL Men has no off limit areas except the area between the Bluewater area to the mouth of Richland Creek until the TBF gets gone then you can fish wherever. The TBF cannot fish in Richland Creek at all.

REEL Men will weigh-in at the point ramp and must be inside the marina no-wake zone by 4pm.
