Just got back from the wifes family reunion. This is the second year we've had it at Blue Bank Resort. Tiptonville Tn. Man was it hot up there. Rented a boat Sat morn and did,nt get a hit for about 3 hours. If you ever go up there---DO NOT DRAG YOUR FIBERGLASS BOAT WITH YOU. I did manage to catch 3 or 4 LM,fishing around the Resort, flipping a crawfish among the Cypress roots. The resort should have filled the pool with insect repellant instead of water. The Mosquitos are vicious. I don't mean a few----I mean millions. If you lingered at your room, with the door open, they would fill your room up. Believe me you hurried in and out of your room. Nothing but, cornfields and soybean fields. The deer eat well up there.
Highlight---sitting in traffic stanstill, 30 miles west of Nashville, for 3 hours, due to a transfer truck overturning on I-40. Know what he scattered all over the interstate----SAMUEL ADAMS BEER! Kegs, bottles, and cans. I thought the State Troopers at least should have offered you a keg or case for your trouble. NOT.
