Does any one have any experience refurbishing older rods.....I have a older St Croix rod that I really like but it's really starting to like like crap....I'd like to refurbish the rod and the cork handle. If you have any tips on the how to's, and material's you might use, please let me know.

Get in touch with "Fat Albert" on here, he is the best. He has done about a dozen for me, makes them look brand new. He builds fantastic rods also, tell him what you want and he will build it, pretiest rods you will ever see.

Coach B does a fine job refurbishing rods..... I'd give him a call. I'm sure Fat Albert does a good job as well, but I KNOW Coach does.
