Rejuvenade with Oxygenator

I have a Oxygenator installed in my livewell and Ive heard that your not suppose to mix any additive such as Rejuvenade or Stay alive because it kills the fish. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Hey Cowboy. No this is not true exactly. I also have an Oxygenator and I use additive religiously, however, the Oxygenator is not compatible with any additive that contains salt. The U2 livewell formula is approved for use with the Oxygenator and it is available at various retailers including Bass Pro Shop. We have had good results with this formula and like all the others it claims to help with dissolved oxygen, controlling bleeding, and protecting the slime coat. We had the first fish die in 2yrs. during the last CBA, but I think it was just a stressed out post-spawner.

If you use to much Rejuvenade or Stay alive while using the oxygenator it will cause chlorine and kill the fish. I have been told that if you use Rejuvenade exactly as the directions say it will not do this. I think that oxygenator has their own chemical that they recommend to use.
