Here is another thought Spur. It seems that (believe it or not) there are some fishermen that could use some fish filleting tips. If I am off and can fish I would be happy to do a demo. I could bring one of my boards and a 12 volt knife hooked to a battery.
Let me know.

100% Cheez!!! Hey Billy, please edit the thread to include a fillet demo from (Cheez, Drumking, Spurhunter).

Good deal, I will try to catch somewhat of a variety to show the different techniques I use for different species.

RE: Meet, Greet, and learn tricks and tactics! Harrison Bay State Park. 6PM @ Fishing pier.

Spur, they are talking about fileting fish, not eating them which you would win hands down.

Do they have wireless internet access out there? :) (Doubt it)... if they did I could show folks how to resize and upload pics.

I am clearing my schedule to come up that way.

I doubt they have a conection there, but just the resize issue stumps alot of people. The upload seems fine if you have the pic size already done. My .02 I hope you can get-er-done and make it!

Bring your cameras to this event!!!

A couple tips to make your time at this event better.

 1. Remember to bring your cameras, still or video. Take pics or video of any tips you see displayed, knots tied, nets thrown, ect. I for one cannot retain a knot by only seeing it done one time.
 2. Bring your rod that you plan on shooting docks with. When you see proper instruction, try it yourself while there!
 3. Bring your favorite toad, pig-n-jig, worm, tube, ect. Get one of the experts to show you how to rig it with YOUR gear...(then take it fishing!)

Man oh Man ! This sounds like something I would definitely like to witness, however June 21 is our 44th Wedding Anniversary and I'm afraid if I come to this I'll not have a 45th. I hope someone video tapes and makes a dvd available. Thanks to all for participating.emoFish

Dadgum - this sounds like a hoot Spur and I'm certainly flattered that you thought enough of me and Dixie Jig Works to include us on the potential roster, but me and the fam will be at Jekyll Island for some much needed R&R. Besides, I can't give away ALL of the secrets!

Allow me to highly suggest an invite be extended to Grey Bomber and Cutthroat Lure Company for some excellent guidance on wire bait selection and usage.

If any of the Dixie Jig Works River Pirates (Churly, Brandon, Flip, JTF, Freebird, Tr19, Wormhook, and assorted other river trash) are planning to attend and would like to take some sample baits or arrange a presentatation with Spur, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hey Spur ... gimme a shout at 423.284.5142 and I'll give you some 'door prizes' from DJW to give away to some of the attendees. I think ya'll will have a blast with this and I regret missing out.
