Does the time not go off GPS? Never looked at mine b4.

Yes it's off GPS but you have to select which time zone and if your area participates in Daylight Savings. There are several areas that do not participate like Indianpolis they are in Central Time Zone but do not choose to participate in Daylight Savings Time.
