I had a Viper remote starter put in my wife's car at Radio Clinic on Lee Hwy. 3-4 years ago. She uses it everyday.
I called and set it up. Dropped the car off that morning and picked it up about 4 hours later. about $300

Have not had any trouble with it. They did a good job.

I try do everything myself but after reading the potential issues of making a little error during installation, I went with the Viper at Radio Clinic too. I solder every electrical connection and use heavy shrink tube, so do they. Price varies with system and type of car. It was several years ago and for my wife. She had a minor (most likely self inflicted) issue with remote operation. She went over there and they fixed it immediately...she did call first. We don't have the car any more but she was happy for a little over 2 years.

Not to bash but I used Allstar a few yrs back. Didn't turn out well. But maybe I just had bad luck.

I've had two different remote starts on different vehicles.... first was done by Ultimate Sounds, right across the Lee Hwy. from Allstar. The second (most recent) was by Allstar (they had a good Groupon deal).

I've been happy with both...

try under ground sound in Cleveland...I have purchased several from them over the years....great guys
