I got the kit for pluging up the oil injector and making my 1996 Mercury fuel injection engine a manual oil mix.

The brains are apparently going hay wire and a new one was around $300.

One problem though. I can't figure out how to make the conversion. It came with a plug an O-ring that goes on the plug and two small machine screws.

I sure don't want to screw this up. If there is someone near the Hixson area that can make this modification for me, hopfully while I wait, please let me know. If I could drop it off in the evening and pick it up the next day would also be great.

O.K.- I feel confident in puting in the plug to eliminate the oil injector. The two machine screws are just used for mounting the plug.

What I need to know now, is what is required to disconnect the oil alarm.

I've tried doing a search on the enternet, but have not had any success.

Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

423-304-0930. It is pretty simple. I have a oil injection module I will GIVE you. I rebuild alot of mercurys and I will not put them on and give a warranty. If you need help with the removal let me know. I can help. If you want to run it over, I can remove while you wait.......

Not yet.
Hope to get to it this week.
To much ball, tournaments and practices going on to get much of anything done lately.

Thanks for all the advise. I'll definately be giving you a call on disconnecting the alarm.
