thanks .I need to figure out how to replace a seal on the foot. i hit a stump just idling yesterday and in 2 ft of water just running with engine up .but not enough i guess. stalled engine but boat ran good after. caught fish tho . went to check like i always do and pulled plug and there it was. but not sure if that stump was the culpret or not. also put water hose on so i could start . water was so clean. could i have blew the seal with water hooked up to it?:ya hooo fineally raining here in hixson thanks gary
Your shaft seal is more than likely leaking,at your water pump, unless you can see oil coming around your prop. Ebay has manuals. I would get that fixed, better a seal than having to rebuild the foot.
