I have a 92 Javelin that needs the pumps replaced. They are Attwood 500's. I cannot find any that looks like them on the internet. Are the new ones compatable with the holes in the boat? If anyone knows or can give advice on this, I would appreciate it. Also would like to know what the sealer is that is used around them.

They should work the same and fit. Take your old one out and take it to Fishinfun and compare them. A 750 should work fine if you cannot find a 500. There is a small lever that is on the side you have to hold up and turn it all at the same time. It should unseal when you do. There are two small wires and you may have a clip but if not just cut them but leave you some extra to splice to the new one and just use a screw cap. I have replaced several over the years in my boats. Jmax

3m 4200 or boat life lifeseal, or anything that says for below the water line

replaced mine this past spring attwoods could not find em put the tsunami in same size but a little lower profile work great wally world

I appreciate everyones input. I went with the Tsunami's and the 3m 5200 and everything worked fine. I figure with Wally world carrying them and them fitting my boat as old as it is, they will work for most boats.
