Replacing trolling motor rope??

Anyone know how to get the newer handle for a Minn Kota apart to put the rope in????

Is there not a little round plug in the back of the handle? If you see a round spot, that will come out, it is not easy but you can take a srew driver or knife and work it out.The other way is cut the rope off right at the hole and insert a phillips into the hole and push it through to forse out the plug. Jmax

Actually the newer handle has an oblong cap. About the time I finished posting this the boy got it figured out. He'll be a traveling pro/guide/boat mechanic before you know it.
