Your link is broken. Coming from the modern day bastian of communistic liberal thoughts (MSNBC) it is doubtful to me that it is worthy to be viewed anyway.

OK, whatever you say. You are right about one thing, it is very doubtful that it is worthy to be viewed. Republicans being serious about cutting spending is a joke, keep in mind 3/4 of debt fell under Republican Presidents. The only time Republicans want to cut spending is when a Democrat is the President. They will cut taxes on the rich though, they are good at doing that.

I think it all started in the last 2 years of Bush II, that was contrioled by Democtacs, a MAJORITY back then. They are the ones that started it all in hopes they could turn it around after the elections, which they blamed it all on Bush, and now they have failed miserably.

Have not failed miserably. If the banks and auto makers had failed we would see 20 plus percent unemployment. An economic disaster avoided, recession is over, and if you think we are going to fix something that took eight years to mess up in two years you are kidding yourself. The bailouts were loans, not just hand outs. We are getting that money back with interest.

Spur let me ask you a question, if you are a big business are you going to pay capital gain tax of 39%, or reinvest and take the write off? Most that are smart are going to reinvest, gain wealth and stimulate the economy. Thats what those write offs are for. Low taxes could lead to less investment, and money leaving the country. Tax breaks should go to those with very limited write offs. My 2 cents worth. Big business wants it both ways and they are using you guys to do it. Top three percent do not have enough votes to put anyone in office, however they do have enough money to run fox news, and generate the resources to put all the bs on the internet that you guys lick up like honey.

I think the best way to fix the economy is called the fair tax. The only problem with that is it takes power away from Washington and puts it in the hands of the people. No politician wants to give up that type of power.
