Researching for Rig Rod

I'm looking to purchase a rod for the Tennessee rig and was hoping for some advice regarding length and brands you guys prefer. I was wondering if you can throw the 5 wire with willow blades or hook less swim baits ? Any help would be appreciated !

I'm loving my A-rig rod from st.croix. It is specifically designed for A-rigs. I use it to flip jigs at guntersville also.
