What a day on Carters Lake, we had 26 boats, there was a club from Cobb Co., a floating fly tour. and another club going out of Doll Mt. with 18 or 19 boats, needless to say the lake had alot boats all a round. The weather wasn't bad but the wind got up and the bite was really touch for me and my partner only catching one fish all day, after talking to some guy thought out the day i was thanking that it must be tough for most everyone. (boy was I wrong) The big bag just kept coming and the big spots just kept getting bigger. Not sure how the other clubs and tourament ended up, but we ended up with one bag over 16lbs; three others or 15lbs., and six others over 10.5lbs. We also had a 6.49 spot, a 5.63,4.79, and a 4.48 all spots. now for the results.
1st place Micheal Geijer and Jake Aikens 16.39 and Big Fish of 6.49 1st $430 and Big Fish $240 winners last week as well
2nd place Danny Buckner and Chris Crump 15.78 lbs. $220
3rd place Tommy Hampton and Steve Townsend 15.48 $70
