RESULTS FROM MARCH 6TH CBC BENEFIT TOURNAMENT ON LANIER

Here are the results from The Chattahoochee Baptist Church Benefit Bass Tournament held at Lake Lanier (Little Hall) on March 6, 2010.

<u>We had a total of 10 boats. 6 boats weighed in fish:</u>

1. Jody Cordell / Trent Gober---14.79lbs. with BIG FISH---4.26lbs.---Total Winnings - $1,500.00 plus 53.5 in. trophy for 1st place & 30in. trophy for BIG FISH - Great job guys!
2. Phil Satterfield / Chris Peeples - 12.43lbs. - Total Winnings - $100.00 plus 33in. 2nd place trophy - Good job guys!
3. Larry Gasaway - 9.82lbs. received very cool 3rd place plaque.
4. Tim Gasaway / Cowboy - 6.54lbs.
5. Julius Shy / Bill Sway - 5.54lbs.
6. Kevin Sanders / Konner Sanders - 1.65lbs.

Though we only had 10 boats entered in the tournament, the crowd exceeded 80 people at the weigh-in!

Thanks again to our sponsors and everyone who gave toward this tournament. Several fisherman including the crowd ate very well...our church fed everyone for free and many walked away with shirts, hats, rods, reels, tackle, and gift cards from the Raffle. Tim Windham won the 7MM Rifle ($600.00 value) and Bill Pagel won the G Loomis Baitcasting Rod ($265.00 value).
We will be giving away another 7MM Rifle and another G Loomis Rod at the next 2 tournaments. You DO NOT have to be present to win any of the raffle items---I hope everyone had a great time.

***A special thanks to LanierMapped.com for filming our tournament. The video can be viewed on LanierMapped.com website under "weigh-in videos". While you're there...view a sample of Lake Lanier's off-shore structure with GPS way points. That's right, LanierMapped.com has done all the hard work for you and placed the Lake Lanier "honeyholes" on DVD's. You can even upload/program the way points in your ipod and take it to the lake with you! How cool is that!

The next CBC Benefit Bass Tournament will be held on April 3rd at Lake Lanier's Little Hall Park safelight to 3p.m. $100.00 pre-registration or $125.00 at ramp morning of tournament. Go to cbc.us.com to print out the preregistration mail-in entry form, view the rules & regulations, and all the raffles.
I am confident that we will have a tremendous turn out on April 3rd.

We had a great time. Our sponsors really helped with the abundance of raffle items. We will have a few more raffles to give away on April 3rd than we did on March 6th...again, thanks to our sponsors.

***Don't forget, we are raffling off a 7MM Rifle and a GLoomis Rod. The raffle ticket price is $10.00 per ticket. With 1 ticket you have 2 chances to win the rifle or the rod. If your name is not drawn on April 3rd, you have another chance to win at our next tournament (April 17th-Lake Allaoona).

Also, we would love to have Tennessee fishermen come fish Lanier with us on April 3rd. If you want to stay the night at a close hotel, the Hilton Gardens Inn is only 10min. away from Little Hall Ramp and they are giving all fishermen a discount, I think it's $79.00 a night and if we get more than 10 rooms, the price is even lower. This is a new hotel and the food is awesome.
