FYI the Northwest GA High school Anglers Assoc has CFP reserved for a 150 boat tournament that same day & they are weighing in at 3:00 as well. Going to be a nightmare at CFP that day.

When I boooked the date there was nothing else scheduled,

All tournaments should be regulated having twonout of the same place on the same day is stupid! There should be a chickamauga tournament committee and should have to go through them in order to put any tournament on at any ramp and yes should charge a small fee for dealing with all the hassle 100 boats or less 10.00 101 to 200 20.00 and so on! They could then control the amount of tournaments that occur! Even just the friendly Theo five or ten bucks in and fish a tournament should have to go through committee

On the NWGA page it says they are blasting off at 9:00. We should be long gone by the time they blast off.

Makes it hard for plain ole pleasure fishermen like myself too............. I don't begrudge any tournament and may jump in a couple with my daughter but I have never seen a lake get pounded like this one does in the spring. It does seem to be holding up well though.

We’re just trying to do a fundraiser for a young man that’s fighting for his life and his family
We called and reserved the ramp and took the proper steps to host the benefit tournament
I hate there are two tournaments on the same ramp that morning but at least blast off will be a couple hours apart
Safelight till 3 eastern time, sign ups at the ramp

Hey buddy don't worry about anything else going on in this thread, b/c this can be discussed in another thread about tournaments. Just hope you guys enjoy yourself and are able to make good money for a family in need.</p>

Can someone confirm the entry$. I wouldn't expect it to be so high $$.... I mean I'm still going to fish it for the support. I just want to know for sure since it's not in the flyer.

I just verified with the guy putting on the tournament and it is 100 dollar entry. They are serving breakfast and lunch as well. His name is groundhog on here if you need to message him.
