I ROLLED IN HOME AROUND 7.00 SUNDAY FROM A TEN DAY TRIP FROM JIM EDDGER PANTHER CREEK STATE PARK. ONE I HAVE BEEN TAKING FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND LOVE EVERY ONE I GO ON. FIRST DAY OF HUNTING I SAW A HEAVY MAST 8-POINTER FOLLOWING A SMALL 6-POINTER THIS WAS THE FIRST INDICATION THAT THE RUT WAS TO COME. THEY STAYED ABOUT 80 YARDS AWAY FEEDING AND MOVED ON, LATER ON A FAT COYOTE AKA{ SINGING DOG} CAME BYE AROUND 10 YARDS, COULD HAVE ENDED HIS SINGING CAREER BUT DID NOT WAN'T TO MESS UP A GREAT DAY OF HUNTING SO FAR.AFTER THAT MORNING AND EVENING OF HUNTING EVERY THING WENT DOWN HILL. DID NOT SEE A SHOOTER BUCK AFTER THAT. {REASONS} WARM WEATHER AND FULL MOON NIGHTS. THEY WERE 4 OF US ON THE TRIP AND, AND DURING THIS TIME WE SAY ALOT OF SMALL BUCKS THAT WILL BE NICE ONES IN A YEAR OR TWO. BUT MY COUSIN WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO TAKE A MAIN FRAME 8 WITH 3 STICKERS ON IT OVER A INCH LONG WE ROUGH SCORED IT AROUND 145. AS EVERYONE KNOWS YOU GOT TO LET THE SMALL ONES WALK TO GET THE BIG ONES LATER. ALL IN ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AND CANT WAIT UNTILL NEXT YEAR. I'LL TRY AND POST SOME PIC. emoDance emoSun
