I hear people say that they were fishing the riprap all the time, I was just wondering what exactly is riprap? Thanks
UNCLE!!!! Sorry Flip ol buddy.... I thought since I'd been throwing rocks for over 38 yrs, I could tell granite from limestone.... I stand to be corrected!flip1up - 6/4/2008 10:14 PM
I have been in the crushed stone industry for over 20 years. Around here most of the riprap is simply Limestone. There are large deposits of Granite in north Georgia, so you may find more of that type of riprap there. I havent even heard about Dolomite since I left my 1 year Indiana gig but its a form of Limestone, both being Sedimetary rock.
