Okay ... I'll admit that I HATE Riverbend. I've been once in the past 7 or 8 years and that was w/ Bprice to see Bocephus. It's hoards of 17 yr olds on cell phones and bad parking. I'm a little more excited this year and will likely buy some pins. Double Z, America w/ the CSO ... and announced yesterday ... The Black Crowes. The Crowes sold me. I wanted to see ZZ Top, but not enough to fight the mess. Now that the Crowes are in, so am I.

Anyone else going this year that normally wouldn't?
 
I moved up here a couple years ago and can't miss a Riverbend. The parking may be bad but at least it's not $20 like in Atlanta. And 8 days of music for $30??? Last year's lineup was so-so but this year is already getting me excited. I bought my VIP tickets for Black Crowes and ZZ Top today. Railroad Earth is a VERY good jamgrass/folk band you should check out if you like that kind of thing. And Joe Bonamassa is another great established blues guitarist. Can't wait...
 
Corey I know this is off topic but whatever happened to the jam session we talked about you guys putting on for CFF with DHaun and everyone? I never heard anymore about it.
 
It kind of fizzled out I think...not sure really. Couldn't find a date in the fall with the turkey hunters and all. I've got something cooking right now in the form of a band. Maybe at the annual get-togethers we could play. I'm up for a jam session/camp out this spring if others are interested! ;)

Only way to go to riverbend is by boat.

I did that two years ago and it was great. No parking issues, beer is cheaper that way, and plenty of ladies in swimsuits.emoCool

Even back when we locked back through to tha Chick....the party still carried on!

There is no way I would go to riverbend by land. I don't care who's playing, it isn't worth the hassle of parking and the money that you have to spend to have a good time. IMO
 
When I hit the Mega Millions lottery this friday...;) ...I am going to buy one of those condos that overlooks Riverbend and you will all be invited!
