RiverPark 12-29-06

Neighbor Hal and I put in at the RiverPark a little after 8:00 and fished shiners until 11:00.  We caught one spot off a barge tie up just below the RR bridge.  Two more spots and a small Sm came off the Golf Course Bank.  I'm going to have to find some place else to fish.  I know DK went down that bank and I saw 8 more boats besides us fish the bank.  It's amazing that so many fish are still caught there.  I missed 3 or 4 other fish.  It was slow fishing but a beautiful morning.  Water temp was almost 50 degrees and the flow was good.  no excuses! </p>

Neighbor Hal takes good pics too, don't he? I caught more fish downtown Chattanooga than up at the golf course. Boy that Aquarium water sure is clear. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

MB, I call the golf course the "Conveyer Belt" due to all the boats floating down it. You almost have to get in line to fish the thing. The past three trips we floated down it and only caught one or two fish. I think they have pulled further out toward the river channel. Clint got a few today but the numbers are not there like they were a month ago when we were catching 10 or more each drift.

Hey Fat Albert, give Neighbor Hal a break. If the sun had been a little higher, all we could have seen would have been a halo. He just took on late growth like I did. Bald is beautiful! Bald is beautiful! Bald is beautiful! I never wear a cap unless I'm freezing.emoBigsmile emoGeezer
