Well, by myself again and although I only boated a total of 8 fish (2 drum, 6 smallmouth) 2 of the smallmouth pushed 4 lbs and the other 4 were in the 2lb class. All were caught on the dreaded corndog in 16-22ft of water. No spots at all? Also all but 1 were caught above the riverpark.

Just not many bites.

Well why---------y, sounds like you had a good day out there pulling in some nice bass. Are you saying you caught them on a regular corndog or is this some new fangled bait on the market.

Mr.Whiskers, the first one would be what WHEN and I call a "livewell" drum (probably 6lbs or so) and the second was what we would call a "ROPE" drum (cause it wont fit in any livewell). This one would push 15 or so I would guess.

Ask WHEN if he still has a picture of the one he caught out of our slogh a few years back. We were crappie fishing and he caught one that would go 35 or so.

At work we used to have yearly work tourny's and we had a junk fish category. I won two years straight with 9 lb drums each year. I think they were worth around $50 each. I figure they were the most expensive drum ever caught.

And I squeezed both of them into the livewell on my 17 ft Nitro. Getting them in wasn't too bad but getting them out was a pain.
