I took off at about 2 to hit the water. Didn't plan on doing well, it just sounded good when my buddy called and said "hey, lets go fishing". It didn't take long for me to say, OK. We put in a lil after 2, fished til about 5:30. Caught one lunker, i mean a hoss on a shallow CB, chart. in color. He was in about 4 ft. of water i guess. Once again I get to make a post letting you guys know that I absolutely can not get on the fish. Oh well, it was fun anyways, heres a pic of our lunker. emoBang

Hey that's more than I've caught in the past two outings! I've been fishing off the Mississippi out here in Memphis. Had a decent one on yesterday but got off...hit a 3inch pumpkinseed grub with chartruse tail. My buddy did snag about a 15lb paddlefish though with a crankbait....that was a first.

Did you catch, photo, and release? Or did you keep it? I know it is tempting to keep a hawg like that for the wall, but replica mounts are an excellent alternative

thats my buddy with the umpire shirt, i dont really think that was an umpire shirt. lol ... thanks for complementing on the bouy, i thought he was holding a fish, o well. emoLaugh ... i agree with the replica mount jason, thats the reason for taking the pic. im glad you guys find our one hawg to be hilarious. emoToast

ahh i didn't take any of that personal, just thought i'd have some fun with it too. it's all in fun, but i assure you guys when the water gets back up i'll have some better hawgs! emoTongue
