Had to take the kiddos this evening to riverpark. Man, was it ON! Billy got a 16.5 largemouth right off the bat. Several small spots later, I land a 15" spot.

We hit a few trees and i only got 2 sopts 12" or better. Then we heaed to some river barge tie ups....15 more spots!

All caught on pign"jigs and rebel crawdad crank baits.

Billy seems to be after Fat Alberts "record small catch of the day" and billy thought it would be cool to post a cingular picture and the hook and ROCK out of one of the fish.

They have me cooking so I'll cut this short...heres the pics

Told ya those barge ties up were stacked with fish. I should have gone but 2 days of tourneys and I was beat. The rough water today wore me out. I stayed home and took a loooooong nap. Ahhhhhh!!!!

Yep,the barges were plentiful. Especially in the corners of the Tie ups and Rip Rap.

Nap...I cant blame you Michael, I think I'm headed to bed early myself.

(Man, all those and, and , ands in my original post. Can ya tell I was in a hurry?)LOL

That's great that you and your son can get out there and enjoy this wonderful creation that we have. We are so blessed in this part of the country. There is no doubt about that one. Nice fish Billy!!!!!

Congrats on the catch BBass - My biggest smallmouth 6lbs was caught just behind the first barge tie off downstream from the RR Bridge below the Dam. They are very fun to fish if you have good boat control with low wind - Thanks for taking time during dinner to post a report!

Thanks Guys. I geuss when I was in a hurry, I forgot one good story about this trip.

Olivia, my sweet little girl, was working the net. She did a great job all evening! BUT, i nailed a pretty good spot and hollered for the net. The net got stuck on something and she had a hard time getting it ready, so, I dediced just to raise the fish in the boat. Well, it kicks off and lands on my son's back. FLAT on his back. (he was bending over getting into a storage box) All of the sudden...here comes Olivia with the net! BAMM! She slams it right on top of his back and Billy goes to hollering! She turns to me with the fish in the net and say "I got it Daddy" Billy mean while is hurting like crazy!

The kiddo had 2 stripes across his back. We all had a good laugh with it though.

Hey, BbassJr, don't be messing with my little fish.... It looks as if me and you are goooood at some things.... "catching small fish" .....yeaemoThumbsup emoThumbsup
