Well, folks the weather men need to go back to school soon... That 30% they were predicting turned into 100% all morning long.. and yes, we got our tails wet, several times. Roba, no doubt saved my life this AM. FA did not think it would rain and did not take any rain gear. Thanks, Rob for letting me borrow a poncho...SAVED THE DAY. I had a really good time fishing with a new friend from the forum. Put in at the graveyard in Soddy Creek and ran up river waaaay before daylight. Ran in a slough with docks and cover but had a hard time finding feeding fish... We caught 5 large mouths and all had that dreaded disease..TOO SHORT. Water temp is coming down to 78 and we used red shad lizzard and brown tubes to catch the fish.... and it rained. and it rained. However, I had a great time with Roba22... He is a good fisherman.. and it rained.. we will do better next time..... fished from 6:30 - 12:30..emoGeezer

Hey FA, reckon why Roba would have a tarp in his boat? Do you think that he might have thought it was going to rain and you wouldn't bring yours?

Man did it ever rain...!! No prob on the poncho FA.. I was glad I could help you out. I couldn't let a buddy drown... We have got to find these fish. I know they are in this lake down here. But for some reason they just don't like me yet.. I'll win them over soon. Just have to keep going back out rain or shine.. Well I may need to re-think the rain part.. I'm still not dry...!
