There used to be good walleye fishing there. I haven't been in years. Don't know what the fishing is like now.

Walleye fishing at the sandbar at Rock Island was fantastic early this spring. I just got back from a 10 day trip camping on the river down stream from there and the walleye bite is slow and scattered over a wide area now.

we camped up there last fall for the kids fall break it was great were going back this year again we put the boat in on center hill lake and fished did good all spotted bass and almost go a musky looking forward to going back this year.
