rod eyes

i need to get a couple of rods re eyed,who does a good job in the area?

I have never had a rod re-eyed but there are some folks around here who build rods and might replace the guides.
Have not had the pleasure of meeting him but those that have say Fat Albert builds a great rod. I'm out of my field here so I'll shut up and let someone who knows answer.

That's Mr. Fat Albert. He took my old, decrepid 8 yr old flipping stick missing the third eye down. I took the new rod my son got for his birthday out of the truck, and the one he fixed (reasonably too!) and put them side by side. My buddy could not tell which one had been fixed. My .02 but when you get there, make sure you bring your check book, cause when you see the rods HE makes, you will never look at your rod the same again. My orders is gonna be made this week FA! Flex those fingers!!!

I give FA my vote here as well. He put an eye on a rod or too. If you can pick out which eye he redone on which rod, you can have it. No one has been able to guess it yet!

I would offer to drop it off for you Blazer since I work pretty close to where he lives but I know I'd see those pretty rods and spend my next month's earnings before I got out of the driveway !!emoBigsmile
