I've got a jmiles custom rod that's pretty heavy action and it works great for flipping although it's only 6'6. It's for sale of you want to try it $30

I use a 7'6 Duckett Heavy for flipping. But ive got all kinds of rods i have used for flipping ive got a 7ft Medium Heavy Vendetta for sale if interested.

I was thinkin about 60 pound braid or a 12 pound. Mainly a 1/4-3/8 jig and also soft plastics in fairly thick cover or docks. Im trying to get more into flippings and skipping.

I use 20 pound Flurocarbon unless im fishing grass then i use 65lb braid. But around dock and wood Flurocarbon is the way to go no doubt.
