Rod for the rig

What rod is everyone using for the rig... I have been using the denali lithium rig rod but this makes the 2nd one that has broken... I'm getting tired of exchanging them so any help would be greatly appreciated

+1 on the Dobyns 795. I very rarely throw a rig but I'm using a 13 Fishing 7'11. Only rated up to 1.5oz but it works.

Check out the 7' 11" Magnum Meat Stick at Soddy Tackle for $150. Made by Dixie Custom Rods out of Knoxville. It actually changed my mind about throwing the rig 'cause I hated 'em!

Ive got 23 Joe Burns rods. Haden is right. His rig road is the real deal. It is very light and stout. It doubles as an awesome frog rod too. He takes great care of his customers.

I use a yankum 8ft heavy and a omend black 7 11 hvy. Both do great with it.

I'm using an 8 footer and I love it. I wouldn't use anything less for rigs after trying one.
