Rod Repair question...

So inner ring of the last eyelit of my medium light action rod has cracked leaving a sharp edge and is beginning to cut my line. I do not want to cut the tip of my rod off to replace it, but rather was wondering if there was some sort of glue I could use to resurface that inner eyelit back to somewhat original state?

Take it to Soddy custom tackle they do repairs

Once those inserts crack it's impossible to fix them. +1 on taking it to a repair ship. A new guide is your best bet.

you can just heat up the tip and remove the hole piece. They replacement tip kits with glue and all at all your sporting stores. Fishtales in Cleveland can do it also.
