Yes, Ronnie is quite "famous," but he never lets on. Google <"Ronnie Garrison" fishing> and you'll see what I mean.

I did an article in the GON a few years back with Ronnie on lake Weiss. He is really a great guy and fun to be on the water with. Did I mention he is a pretty good angler???Love to read his articles and reports....

Aw shucks - I do write for Georgia and Alabama Outdoor News. Was surprised to see Daryl put that note in his comments about writing for them.

The Feb issue of Alabama Outdoor News has an article that might be of interest to some here - I did a map of the month article on Guntersville with Randy Tharp.

I have a lot of fun doing the "research" for the articles I write - I get to fish with some excellent fishermenl. Looks like I would learn how to catch a bass!

Thats cool Ronnie. I just read your Right to Bear Arms article, and saw the map one too. I guess I need to start looking to see who is writing this stuff!

I was paired to fish with Ronnie the first day of the GA Top Six last year. I can honestly say it was one of my more enjoyable tournament days. I only caught one keeper but I made a friend and have always appreciated his acceptance of me as a lady angler. He has since been kind enough to offer a congratulations for an accomplishment or a sound piece of advice for my fishing when needed. More importantly, his website, his posts/reports, and his articles are great reading. Good luck this season!

It's funny Spur... it is VERY common for someone to ask me, "Hey, did you see that article in the paper about so-and-so?"

And my answer is, "Well, yea I guess I did ... I wrote it." emoLaugh But don't feel bad... I do the same thing to other writers as well. It is easy to skip over bylines.
