Rough 1st tourney 7-29-06

We had a tough day. Missed a good smallmouth right off the bat next to John Patten island. Then ran to Tyner Lane cove NOTHING!! Not even a Brim bite. Did catch 1 spot 13". That was our only keeper. emoBang We should've consentrted on the deep water humps and ledges but second guessed ourselves.. emoDoh

By looking at other post, it seems like everyone is having a hard go at it. I believe the dog days of summer are affecting the bite.

Thats why ya need grass man. 19.30#s won Saturday on Nickajack. 14 was 2nd and 13 was 3rd.

Jason,. That would be nice but maybe wait til it cools off some. Haven't fished down there in a couple of years and would like that.emoThumbsup
