I was bound and determined to fish this afternoon. Thought about the Wolf but with the wind and water color being stained as it is after these storms plus it is hard to cast from the bank in the area I fish so I decided to go to Harrison Bay. I talked my wife and kids into going with me. My wife , little girl and dog joined me but the wind was too tough and all my companions left me before a fish was ever caught!!! Thinking I was crazy for staying and fish in such wind! I proved them wrongemoSmile ended up landing 15 Male keeping Crappie (slabs) not that I am prejudice, I would of kept any Slab Females however there were none to be found. I did toss back two small Crappie which may have , and did appear to be Females. I also lost 3 or 4 Crappie trying to horse them in before they were ready. I caught 3 LM Bass, 1 Spot and I had a good fish abuse me and I ended up braking off (the way it appeared to be fighting I would guess a LMemoConfused ) 2 of the other LM were over 15inches, the Spot was 12-13.
I also caught 2 stripe. Every thing I caught was on a minnor..and was fished about 2ft deep(under a float). The wind was unbelievably tough....I mean fierce but raring back and slinging the ol' tuffie into the right spot will make for some good dinner!emoSmile
