What should normal rpm's be for an Evinrude Intruder 150. I am all stock running a Renegade 25 prop on a 285 ProXL Statos. Depending on weather and water I am running between 5200-5400rpm around 60mph at wot. Is this about average for this setup?

I have a factory service manual it says optimum RPMs is 5200 to 5600 rev limiters at 5800

I ran a 24P prop on my Stratos with a 150 Johnson. Top speed was 58 mph loaded heavy @ 5600 rpm. With the prop you have, it sounds to me like you are close to where you should be.

I agree with BulletTJ. My Stratos runs exactly the same, maybe get 60 - 64 mph lightly loaded. My manual says 5500 max rpm and Johnson being the same company as Evinrude and a similar motor, I bet it is the same max rpm and your on the safer side of the max.
